Qlik App – Income statement and balance sheet
Meridion’s finance team in collaboration with Meridion’s Qlik team has developed a compiled income statement and balance sheet to facilitate the work before the monthly closing. The solution enables a detailed analysis at the voucher level, which is considerably smoother than the capabilities in M3. It also allows for exporting all data without limitations, which solves the challenge where M3 has a limit on the maximum number of rows.
The application
The purpose of the application is to consolidate data more easily and quickly for reporting. The application is often used to send data to auditors who request this type of information.
By extracting and analyzing data from M3 (GLS200), we can gather a complete income statement and balance sheet for reporting.
The solution is built to provide a summarized view for any chosen order of all dimensions in the general ledger. It also allows for navigating down to the detailed level.
