On 13–14 October, researchers and practitioners from industry, academia and the public sector will gather at KTH Campus in Stockholm for the PLAN Research and Practice Conference. This year’s theme is “Production logistics as an enabler in turbulent times”, focusing on how logistics and production can contribute to resilient, innovative, data-driven and sustainable supply chains over the long term.
We are particularly pleased to present State of Sweden 2026 – Best Practice in Inventory Management in Swedish Industry. Together with Patrik Jonsson from Chalmers and Metta Lundquist from Cloetta, Johan Bystedt from Meridion will share insights into how Swedish companies approach inventory management and Supply Chain Management.
Inventory management is a key component of an efficient supply chain. In an increasingly uncertain business environment, the ability to balance service levels, capital tied up in inventory and efficiency is becoming ever more important. By combining research with practical experience, we aim to provide perspectives and knowledge that can be translated into tangible business value.
