Global Warehouse solution rolled out

Digital Twins at 21 sites around the world

Volvo is now rolling out its global warehouse solution, built on Meridion's Warehouse Visualization.

Using a digital twin, warehouses can be analyzed through images instead of tables, providing critical insights and a common platform for increased efficiency. Since the beginning, we have jointly implemented digital twins at 21 locations worldwide.

Over the past three months, we have been working on visualizing a facility in the U.S. using Meridion's Warehouse Visualization and Digital Twin. This site is the second largest so far, with approximately 300,000 visualized storage locations.

The site is looking forward to using the Digital Twin as a bridge between the site team’s operational support and their inbound- and outbound teams. They have big plans to improve warehouse health and optimize their picking patterns.
