On September 16, industry professionals, companies and system providers gathered at the Logistics & Business Systems Fair in Värnamo for a day filled with inspiration, knowledge sharing and insights into the future of ERP, logistics and business development.

Meridion participated as an exhibitor and also hosted a presentation on stage. Our focus was on the benefits of Process Mining for streamlining processes within Supply Chain Management and Order to Cash. During the presentation, Johan Bystedt from Meridion explained how Infor Velocity Suite, part of Infor M3 CloudSuite, can be used to analyze, automate and improve business processes.

Together with Infor and Paulig, Meridion has previously carried out a project exploring how new technology can provide greater insight, identify areas for improvement and strengthen the efficiency of business processes.

The project provided practical insights into how Process Mining, RPA and generative AI can be used to move from data and analysis to tangible improvements. At the fair, participants had the opportunity to learn from these experiences and gain a concrete understanding of how new technology can be translated into real business value.

Infor takes the win as eight ERP systems go head-to-head

One of the highlights of the day was the opportunity to see demonstrations of eight different ERP systems: Infor, IFS, SAP, Microsoft, Forterro/Jeeves, Visma, NetSuite and RamBase. A clear common theme throughout this year’s competition was AI, and in particular how AI is now being applied in practical ways within ERP systems to reduce administration, simplify users’ everyday work and automate tasks.

Infor emerged as the clear winner, with Håkan Strömbeck taking home the victory! For us at Meridion, it was particularly exciting to see Infor recognized after a day focused on how modern business systems can create better conditions for efficient and data-driven processes.
